“Mysterious Disease Claims 18 Lives in Ali Muhammad Goth, Karachi”

In the Ali Muhammad Goth area of Kemari district in Karachi, 18 people have died in the past 16 days due to a mysterious disease. The Sindh Health Department submitted a preliminary report stating that all of the deceased had fever, sore throat, and difficulty breathing, and died within 5 to 7 days of the onset of these symptoms.

The report also states that local residents have reported a deterioration in their health since two factories were established in the area. The initial report suggests that the deaths were caused by damage to the lungs due to chemical components in the air.

As a result of the reports, the district administration has taken action and sealed three factories in the area and arrested four people. Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the deaths and has requested separate reports from relevant institutions.
