Afghanistan-Made “Mada 9” Supercar Takes to the Roads

An Afghanistan-made supercar, called the “Mada 9,” has gained attention on social media for its Bugatti-inspired design. A recent video shows the car taking a test run on a snow-covered road, displaying an impressive grip. The Mada 9 was developed by the Navavari Center of Technical and Vocational Education of Afghanistan, in collaboration with the IT Ministry and the Innovation Center of Afghanistan. It is made from lightweight composite materials and has a tubular frame chassis, F1-style pushrod suspension, and a mid-engine layout. The Mada 9 was developed with Afghanistan’s hilly terrain in mind and the team plans to rigorously test the prototype before putting it into production. The Mada 9 is set to be displayed in its final form at the Qatar Exhibition.
